Dancing Your Bliss

Looking for a therapist who is warm, caring, and real?

It's not fun to deal with anxiety, depression or frustration about relationships.

When you're looking for help, you want to know you're in good hands - that you've found someone who really gets what you're going through.

I use warmth and humor to help my clients find relief from anxiety, stress, emotional pain, and relationship problems.

  • I love helping my clients create an inner sense of peace, confidence, and self-care while letting go of old habits and patterns that are no longer working.

  • And I love working with couples to develop healthy communication skills, rebuild trust and closeness, and have fun with each other again.

We hold trauma in our bodies. By bringing the body into the therapy session, we find new possibilities towards creating healthy change and growth. I meld somatic psychology, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and expressive arts into each session.

Each session is custom-created for you in order to meet your needs in the moment. By learning the language of the body's consciousness, we can shift our mythologies, and discover what holds us back from living fully.  Together, we create a living road map that leads you to much greater fulfillment and joy.

After many different and mostly disappointing experiences with counseling and psychotherapy, I, at last, found my way to Rachel's welcoming door. My work with her has offered everything I had held hopes that therapy could be - a safe and collaborative process of self-exploration, a reconnection to my passion and joy, and a vehicle for deep inner healing.

Rachel's warmth and authenticity is immediately apparent. She holds such a space of acceptance and non-judgment that I felt safe delving into the depths of my mind and soul with her. Her genuineness and compassion shine through in the sacred space that is held and shared in a counseling session.

Prior to seeing her as a client, I had stumbled upon her website and read her article "Kick Depression out of Bed and Snuggle Up with Joy Instead" and I immediately began putting her simple steps to joy into practice. They are easy & awesome steps and they work like magic! What a gift!

I feel so enriched by my work Rachel and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for therapy that honors the whole person: body, mind, heart and soul. She is a healing light.
