Rachel Fleischman, LCSW, REAT, is an internationally renowned psychotherapist, writer, educator and workshop leader.
Throughout her career, she has pioneered a combination of traditional psychotherapy, movement, body awareness, and spirituality.
Embodying over two decades of expertise, Rachel has been trained in a broad range of healing arts, including body-mind psychotherapy, somatic psychology, neuroscience, mindfulness meditation, hypnotherapy, and expressive art therapy.
She is trained in the Halprin Method through the Tamalpa Institute where she studied under dance therapy pioneers Anna Halprin and Daria Halprin. Rachel has also studied with Continuum Movement founder Emilie Conrad, Gabrielle Roth of 5Rhythms, Group Motion’s Manfred Fishbeck and Brigitta Hermann, and Roni Koresh, founder of Koresh Dance, as well as legendary yoga guru B.K.S. Iyengar.
From this work she has created the Dance Your Bliss method and her Being Bliss CDs (online shop coming soon!).
Rachel has been featured in Elephant Journal, PsychologyToday.com, and British Columbia Magazine, among other respected publications. She has been guest faculty at Naropa, and Sofia University, and presents her work throughout the United States and abroad.
Rachel has been a presenter at the Esalen, Hollyhock, Shambla Center, Lake Austin Spa, Rancho La Puerta and many other wonderful institutions. She is proud to be a longtime faculty member and presenter at the renowned Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY.
